For a change, this time I have decided to go with Paid Marketing, rather then Search Engine Optimization in my article. Recently in the past week Google Adwords has made an update which many of us would not be aware of, that is it has rolled out a new feature called remarketing. Currently it is available only for particular advertisers. Over the next few weeks every advertisers will get this new feature in their accounts.
Are you thinking on how to reach the customers, who have already been to your website and put their interest in your product? Now Google’s new feature remarketing will be the better solution for your question. It sounds cool right. Yes of course, let me explain about this remarketing in detail further.
Recognizing The Prominent Customers:
Remarketing is an easiest method to connect with users which is based on the user’s past interactions with your website. Any Adwords account holder can use this feature to reach users as they are browsing one of the Google content network websites. Google made a trial of remarketing last march as a part of their Internet-based-advertising beta, and received a tremendous response from various advertisers, which encouraged them to take up this remarketing to the next level.
This remarketing campaign can be created and organized through the newly available “Audience” tab option in the Adwords interface. Actually this remarketing campaign doesn’t use anything much special, it just uses the same available features and reports in the Adwords that we use today to reach out the perfect audience for your ads in totally a new interesting manner.
Remarketing – How it Works:
Remarketing works in a quite different way, as like the conversion tracking in Adwords, Google will provide a snippet of remarketing code, which have to be placed on the pages that needed to be tagged – these pages will then place cookies on visitor’s computers and the cookie will stay on their computers even when they leave our website.
Here is Google’s explanation:
Let’s say you’re a basketball team with tickets that you want to sell. You can put a piece of code on the tickets page of your website, which will let you later show relevant ticket ads (such as last minute discounts) to everyone who has visited that page, as they subsequently browse sites in the Google Content Network. In addition to your own site, you can also remarket to users who visited your YouTube brand channel or clicked your YouTube homepage ad.
We can also run multiple remarketing campaign at the same time and this will help you to reach tremendous users multiple times a day, week or month. for more information on remarketing you can check the below link from Google-Adwords-Help-Section.
Remarketing is the best way for you to reach users who are highly receptive to their ads and special offers. It also helps Adwords advertisers to get higher ROI. Soon Google advertisers can expect this new feature to roll out in their respective Adwords accounts.
