Goodbye to Google AdWords Report Center

Earlier this week, The Google AdWords blog announced that they will be moving the Report Center into the Campaigns tab. As of now, Google moved some of the reports from the Report Center to the Campaigns tab, also it is assumed that soon it will start transferring the other reports to the Campaigns tab as well and finally the Report Center will be discarded wholly which will happen in a couple of weeks.

Google announced that we can access all the reports that we had in the Report Center through the Campaign tab itself where we manage and monitor our campaigns. Now, as the Campaign tab itself contains the much useful necessary data Report Center will no longer be considered as an important section in the AdWords interface.

You can find the below statements from Google AdWords that how the future changes will work:

  • Over the coming weeks, we’ll move the key elements from every report in the Report Center into the Campaigns tab.
  • Whenever a report becomes available in the Campaigns tab, we’ll remove the option to create this type of report in the Report Center.
  • Don’t worry, the scheduled reports you’ve set up for this report type will still run as usual. However, we’ll also copy these reports into the “Reports” section of your Control Panel & Library. Once you’re comfortable with the new version of your scheduled reports, you can delete your old reports from the Report Center to avoid receiving duplicate emails with the same AdWords data.
  • After we’ve finished moving all report types into the Campaigns tab, we’ll retire the Report Center entirely. You’ll then download, schedule, and email your reports only from the pages where you manage your campaigns.

Above mentioned changes will affect only the individual accounts Report Center and the MCC (My Client Center) or TV Ads reports will not be affected by it.
