I am going to share four of my favorite photo sharing sites here.
1. Flickr:
Flickr, one of the popular photosharing website offered by Yahoo, started in February 2004 and still its working to improve its features:
- The main advantage is most of the websites support Flickr integration.
- Though the basic account is free, there is a limit to the amount of material you can upload each month and you can upgrade to pro account by paying $24.95 per year.
- Tagging that helps the pictures or photos to be organized and another unique feature is flickr allows anyone to add notes on your photos.
- You can create 3D photo cubes, puzzle games, slideshows with audio and more using the free services like PictureTrail, FlickrCash and Tabblo.
- Flickr offers community service, that helps to set up your own community of family and friends and also can join existing communities based on similar interests.
- The disadvantage is its not so easy to download Flickr pictures and you have to make use of Flickr Leech, a third party service to download photos from Flickr to your hard-drive.
2. Picasa:
Picasa, the web album is offered by google services.
- Its known for fast and easy photosharing from google.
- Its the easy way to share and integrate photos with other google products such as Gmail and Google maps.

- It also has a feature of tuning effects that make your photos look even better and helps to view fullscreen slideshows.
- Basic image editing like crop, rotate, colour adjustments can be done through picasa and you can upload the edited pictures online.
- Another important feature is “Facetagging”, Picasa easily recognizes which faces are the same person, and creates albums for each person in your pictures and “Geotagging”, that lets you assign a location to your pictures, and tag where they were taken.

Photobucket, another photosharing websites that also offers image hosting and video sharing with 10 GB of free space.
- The pro account features an unlimited of space, FTP uploading, up to 100 albums on custom URLs, and unmetered bandwidth usage.

- Photobucket offers Bulk Photo uploader, an application that allows users to easily drag and drop and upload up to 100 images at a time, and “Adobe Remix”, allows users to combine images, videos, and music to create personalized videos with different soundtracks.
4. Smugmug:
Smugmug ,photosharing website that comes under paid category with basic pay of $39.95 per year.
- Though its paid its worth since it allows to upload and store unlimited number of photos and offers a free trial offer for the first 14 days.
- And the pro account is available for $149.95 a year, allowing you to use the service to sell your photos online would be helpful for professional photographers.

I know about the most website but Smugmug is new one thanks for sharing
http://www.photoswarm.com is another good one too.
if you want to try something different from the services mentioned on this article, have a look at http://pixi.me/whyus.php – we use Gallery, the open source web based photo album organizer. Have a secondary backup location for all your photos or just have more control/privacy with them using the Gallery. If you have web hosting somewhere, take a peek at your control panel – you’ll mostly likely see a 1-click installer for it.
